Sunday Speed Linking

In today’s edition of Speed Linking we’ve got two great financial articles along with an interesting link to check out. As usual, these links are of Grade A quality (would I refer my readers to anything else?). Let’s get started.

  • Getting Rich Takes a Few, Simple Steps - As I read through this inspirational post I got to thinking. How can I go through my life making decisions to become wealthy? From the looks of things, it shouldn’t be that hard by practicing restraint and living within my means while making responsible decisions. Read this post and learn one person’s story of getting rich slowly and surely. Then, put the technique into practice for yourself.
  • Save for tomorrow or live for today? - This is a great question and something that a lot of people encounter when they reveal their frugal living to friends and family. You only live once, right? Why not live it up? I’m somewhere in the middle, but this post is one person’s great introspective on their life and finances. Check it out if you have a chance. It’ll get you thinking for sure.
  • Angry Nintendo Nerd - This is seriously one of the funniest pages I’ve visited in a long time. Be warned it could be considered very offensive by some people. However, I just sat and laughed for half an hour watching videos here. If you’re a fan of video games at all, especially old school Nintendo stuff, then you should seriously check this out. You’ll waste an hour there, if not more. Highly recommended for comical value.

So what do I have coming up this week? I’m not really sure at this point. I am working on a piece about stress at work, how to alleviate it, and how to counter it, but I have a few other things up my sleeve too. Be sure to check back throughout the week for more stunningly good commentary here at Abandon Nest.
