Since I stopped writing on this blog, my life has changed directions and I have become a web developer by trade. As such, I believe that this forum is worth mentioning.

First, the contents are very useful. You can ask and respond to a plethora of questions. The helpfulness of the individuals there is not to be denied. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else with a question related to affiliate marketing, SEO, or SEM.

You should really check it out, and I encourage you to sign up. It only takes a few minutes, then you can introduce yourself and start asking and answering questions.

Earlier this year, I was very curious about what kind of information the people looking at my financial records were receiving. On the advice of my father, I decided to check my credit report online. Based on what I found, I recommend that every one of you do the same. Here’s some reasons why:

Find Forgotten Accounts – You know that credit card you applied for when you first started college? The one that you threw in your desk drawer as the emergency card and completely forgot about? Yeah, that’s still on your credit history even if you don’t use it ever. Lenders will look at open accounts and wonder why you have them.

Verify Your Information – What are your lenders reporting to the credit bureaus? If you get your credit report, you’ll find out, and you’ll find out if the information is valid and correct. There are times when the credit bureaus flat out receive incorrect information. If you discover this, you can write them and have it corrected.

Confirm Your Credit Standing – Credit scores are important because it’s how lenders decide what kind of interest rates to give you, whether to lend you money, and decide on various other terms. If you have a high credit score, you can be fairly certain that you’ll be ok when you go to borrow money or sign a contract (lease, cell phone plan, etc.). If you have a low credit score, you need to start doing things that will boost it. Use your credit cards responsibly, make payments on time, and don’t exceed your credit limits.

When I went to get my credit report, I did it from this website. It’s reliable, and you get the credit report for free. I highly recommend it and encourage you strongly to get your credit report. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Kira says you can also get your credit report absolutely free at AnnualCreditReport.com. Thanks Kira!

In this, my triumphant return to blogging, I’d like to go through my list of the 5 best things you can do on a weekend. Now, weekends are very distinct from the ordinary weekday because you tend to have less things to do. There’s no work, no school, and few obligations, freeing time for other activities. Here’s what I recommend.

Sleep – I don’t know about you, but during the week I don’t get nearly enough sleep. Every day I have so much that I want to accomplish and it just never seems to get done. Sure, I’ll work hard all day but I’m still up late into the night with work or some activity that I wanted to partake in. Weekends provide an opportunity to shut off the alarm and just sleep until you wake up. Recharge the batteries and let your body tune itself up.

Play Sports – Ready to put all that free time to good use? Get off the couch and out on the football field or onto a basketball court. Get your friends, lace em up, and get ready to play. Sports are a great way to build endurance, expend energy, and live life to the fullest.

Go to Church – After your physical expenditures, it’s time for a mental, physical, and spiritual rebuilding. Attending church services on the weekend is a great way to focus on your life, come together with a community, and think about the direction you want to head. It lasts an hour and you’ll be grateful you spent the time you did.

Pursue Your Hobbies – Every day the average person is put through the grinder. You have to work, there’s huge expectations of you, you need to pay bills, and so on. The weekends allow you the time to focus on your hobbies and spend some time on things that you really care about. For me, I like to do a little bit of programming on the weekends to relax and explore my different options.

Road Trip – Sure, three days isn’t that long of a time, but visiting family or friends a couple of hours away is a perfectly reasonable weekend task. Set off right after work on Friday and come back Sunday night. Sometimes getting away from your normal life is what you really need to do.

Take this weekend to jumpstart your life and try out one of the things I’ve listed. I assure you you’ll be a happier person.

If you’re a regular reader of this blog (which you better be) then you’ll have noticed that my posting frequency has gone down lately. Because of this decline in productivity, I’ve decided to go ahead and take a blogging break until September, and I’d like to list out the reasons why (for those of you who are interested.)

My Job is at Its End – On the 18th, my spring/summer co-op will be over. This is a good thing because I’m ready to be done and get back to school. However, it also brings the negative consequence that I will not have very much good business material to build on. Unfortunate, I know.

Reevaluate Priorities – I love this blog and I love writing for it. I really think that I’ve helped people understand a lot of things about living on their own and self-sufficiency in general. That’s great! However, there are a lot of other projects that I really would like to work on that I think may be a little higher in priority for the next few weeks. One example is my personal blog that I’ve been planning for some time. I want to get a good design and get it off the ground.

My Girlfriend is Coming Down! – Unfortunately, I have not seen my significant other in over three months. That’s a really long time. Really, it is! She arrives soon and is staying for a week. During that time, I don’t want to have to worry about posting to Abandon Nest. Plus, I’m sure she’ll think I’m really thoughtful for stopping and I’ll make her feel special (which she is).

Moving Out – A consequence of going back to school is that I need to move out of my sweet apartment. Unfortunately, this involves lots of packing and negotiating getting my stuff moved 250 miles northwest. Bummer, right? I’m still trying to decide how to get all my stuff up to my dorm, considering I drive a 1987 LeBaron. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

Blogger Burnout (kinda) – All right, I’ll admit it. Pumping out a ton of content everyday really got to me. Fortunately, it was worth it. I feel like I have a lot of great content in my archives and on my site. I have over 210 articles now, and that’s awesome! Sure, I don’t generate a lot of traffic, but the little that I do get read my articles intently. I’ve had a few people go through every article on my site and that’s a really great feeling. By working so hard to create all this stunning content (modest I know) I think I kind of wore myself out a bit. I feel that in a couple of weeks, I’ll be ready to start again and I’ll have new fresh experiences to build on. Excellent, right?

So there you have it. Those are my 6 reasons for taking a break for blogging. On a side note, this list is part of Problogger’s List Project. I highly recommend you check it out.

As luck would have it, I was sitting around on Thursday night at about 8:45 PM, and the power goes out. Now, common sense would say at that point you just go to sleep. However, I had just got done with a three and a half hour nap, and there was no way I was getting to bed again so soon. Sitting there, I remembered when I was younger all the fun games I used to play when I was younger and the power went out. If I still had them, I would’ve done so on Thursday too. I figured you would enjoy a quick list of
games you can play with candle light when the power goes out.

Find the Candles and Matches – OK, remember this game? It’s when the power goes out and you have no idea where the emergency candles and matches you’ve been saving up have gone. Oh, you didn’t play this game? OK, moving on.

Sorry! – This has to be one of the most vindictive, hate mongering board games of all time. Sure, it starts out innocent enough, but wait until the same person has bumped you back to the start 4 times. Awesome, isn’t it? Bust out this game and you’ll have a ton of competition and a great sarcastically apologetic time.

Monopoly – Otherwise known as the game that lasts forever, Monopoly is a perfect game to play by candle light. Sure, it may make it easier to cheat the bank, but the game will probably last until the power comes back on half a day later. By then, you’ll be ready to do something cheap, easy, and mindless… like watch TV

Trivial Pursuit – Is there any game in the world that can make you feel so smart one moment and then completely brainless the next? If there is, I haven’t found it. Trivial Pursuit is the ultimate team game, but make sure you stack your team correctly. You need to make sure you have science guy, history girl, pop culture whiz, and sports nut or some combination thereof. Mess up this winning combination and you may find yourself stuck with no chips and waiting your turn over and over again.

Well there you have it. If the power goes out, play some board games. It always makes the time go by faster and before you know it, your power will be back on and you can go back to your regularly scheduled life.

You can pass HP HP0-S14 and HP0-S16 in first attempt. Download HP HP0-J23 and HP0-J24 MSA storage and enterprise backup solutions revision kit. Free Juniper JN0-400 exam questions. After all these certifications one can go then to HP2-Q01 Exam.
