10 Reasons You Should Never Get a Job

Hello readers! I generally try not to do this, but today I’d just like to give a simple link out that I think is very, very insightful. It’s from StevePavlina.com and is entitled 10 Reasons You Should Never Get a Job.

It is most definitely a great article. I’ve read through it three times now so that I completely understand each and every reason and I would recommend it to any person, young or old, who is looking at their future and trying to decide what to do. Happy reading.

Blogging for Beginners

Well, as I stated in my post earlier today, I was teaching a class at the library tonight called Blogging for Beginners. I was worried no one was going to show up at first. Then, right before I was about to pack up and leave, three people arrived. I set up my laptop and gave them my spiel.

It, admittedly, went really well. I felt like I did a good job teaching and the “students” learned a lot about blogging and internet stuff in general. Because I’m so darn proud of my presentation, I’ve decided to release it here at my blog. So here you go:

Blogging for Beginners

Now, what does this have to do with living on your own? It’s all about being confident and self-assured. If I wasn’t those two things, there is no way I’d get up and talk to three strangers about something that I like a lot. If you’re interested in blogging at all, I hope you’ll take a look at my presentation.

Teaching at the Library

Quick post, and the only one for today. Tonight I’m going to be teaching a class at my local library called Blogging for Beginners. I’m doing it to:

  • Give back to the community
  • Practice my presentation skills
  • Express my passion for teaching and learning
  • Help older people understand blogging

I have no idea how many people will be showing up, but I hope it’s an ok crowd. Wish me luck!
