21 Days to a Fitter You – The Muscle Monkey
The Muscle Monkey is a recipe I recently picked up from a bodybuilder friend of mine. It’s great tasting and easy to make. The Muscle Monkey will load you up with protein and calories after a good workout so you can rebuild the muscle you just broke down. Here’s what you’ll need:
Tools
- Blender
- Tablespoon
- Ice Cream Scoop
Ingredients
- 2 Scoops GNC Pro Performance Chocolate Protein
- 2 Tablespoons Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
- 2 Tablespoons Low-Fat Peanut Butter
- 8 oz. Skim Milk
- 3 Scoops Low-Fat Vanilla Ice Cream
This is really easy. You’ll basically be throwing all these things into a blender and mixing them. I have a certain order I like to go in that seems to promote the easiest mixing. The best order to put things in is:
- Milk
- Protein
- Chocolate Syrup
- Peanut Butter
- Ice Cream
Blend them all together on a low setting so that you don’t melt the ice cream and peanut butter. You want your shake to be thick when it comes out of the blender. I’m not really sure how much this makes, but be sure you have a big glass ready. I use a large mug that I have but any large drinking glass should easily handle it in two pours. Have fun enjoying this delicious treat!
